Families
Rocky Mountain Deaf School families can help support their students by staying engaged. This includes checking Infinite Campus, reviewing the RMDS newsletter, participating in the Family Student Staff Organization, taking American Sign Language classes and attending conferences.
RMDS families also can:
- Find school documents on the Document page.
- Subscribe to the RMDS family calendar so you don't miss an event.
- Pay school fees and update student information in the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
- Read the Student and Family Handbook for important information on every aspect of RMDS.
And remember, RMDS ASL classes are free to families that have students attending the school. Contact Stephanie Carson at scarson@rmds.co or 720-961-9211 with questions or to sign up.
Workshops, Events, Conferences
Rocky Mountain Deaf School values family involvement. Together, we are the best indicator of a child’s success in school. There are several conferences, workshops and events held at RMDS. They represent excellent opportunities for the families to meet other families, staff members and school administrators.
Family night events are held once a semester. This is a family's opportunity to learn the curriculum, methods and language that is being used in the classrooms.
Parent-teacher conferences keep families informed of their student’s progress and ways in which parents might be of assistance at home. Scheduled family conferences are held twice each year.
ASL Classes
Virtual classes for Levels I, II and III. The 2024 winter-spring session is TBD; registration opens on Nov. 28.

Password Reset
Forgot your student or parent password?
- Parents/guardians should visit Jeffco's Personal Account Manager to recover or reset their usernames and passwords.
- Students should use the student password reset tool.
Safe2Tell
Safe2Tell helps students anonymously report anything that concerns or threatens them, their friends, family or community.
Call 1-877-542-7233 or submit a report online or through the Safe2Tell app.
School Finder
With School Finder, there are three easy ways to learn about schools:
- By name
- By proximity
- By other criteria like Dual Language, special education, gifted, Montessori, Science, Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and more.

With School Insights you can view data on school culture, teacher-to-student ratios, student academic performance and information about each school.
